Hi! My name is Heidi and I started "Jacked Jockey Health and Fitness" the nickname came along early in my career being the first professional jockey to race ride and prep for a bodybuilding competition at the same time! I have ridden racehorses as my full time job since I was 13 and have always had a passion for anything health and fitness.
I became a PT when I was 18, but jockeying took up most of my career, while I was injured 2 years ago, I studied to become an Accredited Sports Nutritionist and started to working as an online coach and personal trainer alongside racing.
Since working closely with PT and online clients I have realised the happiness that comes from helping other people succeed. I can’t begin to explain the amazing changes I have seen, not only in someone’s fitness journey, but watching that transform into other areas of their lives as well.
Bodybuilding and race riding are most definitely my 2 passions, and I worked my entire career to make the 2 sports work at the same time! It took a long time with a lot of struggles with weight, eating disorders, time management etc - but Season A 2025 I was able to make it happen. Watch this space for the next season!
While I was in prep, I also put alot of time into social media. I realised another passion of mine is being a motivation to other people, whether that is helping them make healthier food choices or motivating them to work out. Social media is full of filters, editing, and mostly a highlight reel of people’s lives - so my mission is to be as real and raw as possible, to show the ups AND the downs, because this is real life!

Having to stay fit for being a jockey, I have enjoyed dabbling in a lot of sports, from specific jockey functional training, marathon, half marathons, every other distance, triathlons, Hyrox, team sports and obviously bodybuilding.

When I started my health and fitness journey I was always looking for recipe and meal inspiration online, when I cooked these meals I found that even though I was "hitting" my protein goals, I was way overreaching on my fats and to hit my macros correctly I was sitting down to a meal that was so small I was never felt satisfied. That’s when I started creating my own recipes.
Creating meals with high fibre, wholefood based and balanced macros - I was then sitting down to meals so voluminous I had to buy larger dinner plates!
After a couple of years of making all these massive meals, I was still seeing other people online, with a few bits of chicken, a piece of asparagus and some peanut butter... Thats not a meal! So I decided to put all my recipes together to make a book! Every recipe is macro counted, high volume and high fibre.
Fast forward a little further, I did a bodybuilding prep that went for 27 weeks and I can hand on my heart say that I avoided ALL hunger AND cravings for the entirety of the prep! The volume I was able to create really just kept me satisfied the entire time! So once again, I wanted to share my secrets with anyone who is preparing for a bodybuilding competition, in a calorie deficit or weight loss phase.
